I often get asked why or how our store has weathered the ups and downs of the economy and how we have managed to survived after all these years. I never take for granted all the goodwill that people have afforded us. A massive part of this little store on the corner of Pike and Broadway has to do with our community support. When I first opened the store some of my friends were taking bets on how long we would have lasted. I ofcourse wanted it to succeed but I never could have imagined that I would be here 12 years later. I just have always taken it day by day. I have been fortunate enough to have friends who became clients and clients that became friends. You always have the option of going somewhere else, finding something cheaper but to choose us is to choose to buy into the story of a dream. To support a community and have it be something more that an cookie cutter boxed entity. The small businesses that exist offer more than just goods. They create a point of interest. A view point of something different and something unusual. Something imperfect but beautiful.
